We finally made the big move and have landed in Los Angeles! Ah, it is good to be back. The coming weeks here on She Wore Stars are sure to be chock full of Hollywood lore centered around L.A. sites while I get my belly full.
September is the month of the harvest -- festivals are popping up all over the place to celebrate the abundance of this season. I hope that this time of year finds you steeped in plenty, as you get ready to pull out your winter wardrobes, your Halloween decorations, and your favorite chicken soup recipes to survive the cold winter months ahead!
In the meantime, enjoy the stories that inspired me this month, including a little bit of ...
Film Festivals, Addictive T.V. Jingles,
I am THRILLED that Turner Classic Movies has announced their festival dates for the 2018 year. Tickets go on sale this November. Don't miss it!
Is anyone else kinda obsessed with that commercial for State Farm where the cute little couple are remodeling their home? The singer croons "I love you, a bushel and a peck, and bushel and a peck but you make my heart a wreck!" That singer is none other than one of my favorites, Doris Day. :)
...and a few things you may have missed from She Wore Stars!
Doing a lot of entertaining this summer? Don't forget to sign up for The Cocktail Adventure! You will be heartily supplied for a summer of imbibing, and able to whip up a cocktail or two without embarrassing yourself. It's fun. Maybe a little too fun.
